The client contacted The Hoots Group regarding a garage renovation and addition. Lot limitations and age of home were a concern, as well as lack the of energy efficient systems in the home.

Our Solutions

In addition to the garage addition, both the kitchen and the master suite were completely renovated. It was an easy decision for the home owner to include all the latest innovative energy efficient green features. ENERGY STAR windows, Spray foam insulation, direct vent water heater, and sixteen SEER 96% variable space HVAC system were just of the few energy saving features that were installed. As a result of whole house approach to the renovation, the homeowner is currently reporting an average savings of over 50-70% per square foot in energy costs.
